The ONE Pass sits above the Employment Pass in Singapore’s immigration hierarchy. Unlike the EP, which ties you to one employer, the ONE Pass gives you extraordinary flexibility. It was designed to compete with similar schemes like the UAE Golden Visa and UK Global Talent visa for the world’s most accomplished professionals.
Eligibility Requirements
You must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Salary: Earn or will earn a fixed monthly salary of at least SGD $30,000 (approximately USD $22,000).
- Outstanding achievements: Have exceptional achievements in arts, sports, science and technology, or academia — even if you don’t meet the salary threshold.

Application Process
- Apply through the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) online portal. You can apply yourself or have a Singapore-based employer apply on your behalf.
- Submit supporting evidence: Salary documentation, CV, achievements portfolio, recommendation letters, business plans (if applicable).
- MOM evaluation: Assessed by a panel considering your expertise, achievements, and potential contribution.
- Approval and pass issuance: Typically 4-8 weeks.

- ONE Pass holders can apply for PR. After establishing yourself in Singapore, you can apply for Permanent Residence, which leads to eventual citizenship eligibility.
